A local fixer connects an international production with the people, places and practical knowledge it needs on the ground. The role can begin at the research stage and continue through recces, prep and filming, depending on the brief.

The value goes beyond translation or arranging transport. It lies in local judgement: spotting problems early, knowing who to contact and helping the production make workable decisions before time is lost on set.
